Opportunities and the Training Program |

All of our Managers begin with a comprehensive
8-week training course that will take
them through all functions of Front and Heart-of
House unit management. Be prepared to learn
everything about one of the most dynamic industries
on the planet! Culminating in your assignment
to a home location where you will assume the
role of leader and businessperson to a staff
of up to 100 or more employees. The training
program is conducted on location at one of
our many units, and will consist of interactive
learning, testing, on-hands experience and
classroom seminar and education so as to help
you manage the administrative, accounting
and employee-related responsibilities required
of the job. Our goal is to prepare you to
be a productive member of the Black Angus
Steakhouse management team. Requirements:
The interested candidate should possess a
minimum of two years management experience
in a similar, people-oriented concept, have
a high school education or the equivalent,
and be a natural leader. Somebody who enjoys
making memories last and futures grow, knowing
it was their own actions and caring that accomplished
it, can be proud to work for our company.

| Kitchen (Chef) Management
and the Training Program |
 |
Our Kitchen Managers, or Chefs, are a dynamic
and extremely influential part of the management
team in our units. Solely responsible for
the kitchen and all food and labor that runs
out of it, there is a high level of respect
and responsibility associated with this position.
All candidates complete a fully comprehensive
6-week training course that teaches
our signature GOLD Standard of food quality,
as well as how to prepare all menu items.
The program is conducted at one of our training
units, including Hands-On experience, checklists,
quizzes and one-on-one coaching to best develop
the skills required of this high-profile position.
Requirements:
The interested candidate should possess a
minimum of two years kitchen management experience
in a similar concept by product or volume.
They should also be comfortable with inventories,
ordering, hiring, training and scheduling
of employees and expense reporting. |
