Since 1964, Black Angus Steakhouse has built its reputation on providing a great steakhouse experience. Our Chefs take pride in serving only All-Natural Black Angus steaks that are carefully aged, fresh-cut daily, and grilled to order over an open flame. At Black Angus Steakhouse, superior quality and friendly service is more than a tradition - it's our passion every day.

Today, there are 75 Steakhouses located in eight western states. We are seeking motivating Chefs with the ability to lead others to excellence.

Management Opportunities and the Training Program
All of our Managers begin with a comprehensive 8-week training course that will take them through all functions of Front and Heart-of House unit management. Be prepared to learn everything about one of the most dynamic industries on the planet! Culminating in your assignment to a home location where you will assume the role of leader and businessperson to a staff of up to 100 or more employees. The training program is conducted on location at one of our many units, and will consist of interactive learning, testing, on-hands experience and classroom seminar and education so as to help you manage the administrative, accounting and employee-related responsibilities required of the job. Our goal is to prepare you to be a productive member of the Black Angus Steakhouse management team.

Requirements:
The interested candidate should possess a minimum of two years management experience in a similar, people-oriented concept, have a high school education or the equivalent, and be a natural leader. Somebody who enjoys making memories last and futures grow, knowing it was their own actions and caring that accomplished it, can be proud to work for our company.
We're Seeking Sous Chefs/Chefs/Kitchen Managers
Our Chefs are a dynamic and an extremely influential part of the management team in our restaurants. Each is responsible for all aspects of running their kitchen. The ability to get results through food quality, cost controls and consistent team performance are reasons for the high levels of respect associated with this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  Exceeding guest and team expectations by providing consistently great food and service
  Quality, Quality, Quality
  Meeting or exceeding food and labor cost goals
  Developing a knowledgeable, passionate kitchen team through on-going coaching and
    development
  Maintaining a high morale and low turnover

Qualifications that we seek:
  Minimum 3 years kitchen management experience
  Passionate about food quality and service
  Experienced with inventories and schedules
  Working knowledge of Excel and computers
  Comfortable with chain restaurant environment and systems
